Hello my friends and welcome to the official Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop! We are a group of 20 Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the globe who have been chosen to share our creations with you. Thank you for visiting me in Canada!
My card today uses the stunning Colorful Seasons Bundle of stamps and dies. It’s a large stamp set with tons of images and sentiments, and an absolutely fab set of framelits. Check it out:
To create this background I first did some watercolouring with my Aqua Painter and a selection of blue inks on Watercolour Paper. While it was drying, I used the solid maple leaf die to make my own mask with a piece of Window Sheet. It’s so easy to create your own masks with any die and the Window Sheets. I love them! Next it was time for a layer of Embossing Paste on top of that watercolouring. I love this background technique and I hope you’ll give it a try too.
There is a full list of supplies used on today’s card at the end of this blog post with clickable links to my Canadian Online Stampin’ Up! Shop.
