Butterfly Birthday Card

Hello my friends! First off, how in the heck is it already Friday?! This week has FLOWN by and I'm finding myself a little behind. I know I still have my team swap cards and team shoebox swap cards to share with you, and I do promise I'll share. Just maybe not until next week. On the weather front, as I type this it's snowing here in Calgary. I'm unimpressed. Very, very, unimpressed.

However I refuse to let this bout of winter weather get to me, so I'm sharing a fun and spring-like card today featuring both the Bold Butterfly Framelits and Butterflies Thinlits.

I absolutely love how these two sets of dies work together. The lacy die cut from one, fits over the solid die of another, to create a stunning focal piece.

I added some delicate fronds from the Botanical Builder Framelits, a wisp of Metallic Gold Thread, and some Vellum flowers to really make that butterfly POP.
