Remarkable You Card: Crazy Crafters Blog Hop

Hi friends! Did you see that header?! I am SO excited! My friend Kyle Bertucci and some members of her Australian team, the Crazy Crafters, are CASEing (Copy And Share Everything) me today. EEK! Each of those participating have chosen one of my projects as their inspiration, and will be presenting their own version of it. Here's my project:

The Remarkable You stamp set has some really striking flowers, so I knew it would be just perfect for focal image on this card. 
I used the same inks as in the original card to watercolour this flower, and I love how it turned out. I think they make the perfect bold and bright blossom.

 I wavered back and forth for quite some time about the Gold Foil paper on the original card and whether I should switch it up on the new card. In the end, the winds of change won over and I swapped it out for Silver Foil.

    I love all your cards and projects. I just love the contrast of the soft colouring on the flowers against the bold background - it just works stunningly well on both cards!

    I went through the Crazy Crafters Blog and looked at everyone's take on your cards. It's inspiring to see the creative minds at work and to learn from everyone. I'm only a year into SU but many years a crafter and quilter. I CASEd your tree made of boxes at Christmas and everyone loved it so thanks for the inspiration. I'm originally from Nova Scotia but live just outside of San Francisco, I'm glad I found your BLOG...you certainly deserve to be on the Artisan Design team and I really enjoy your cards. Allison, I love your work!
