If this is your first visit to my blog, let me introduce myself! My name is Allison Okamitsu and I'm located in Calgary, AB Canada. I'm an avid paper crafter and lover of all things Stampin' Up! I also cherish memory keeping and documenting life, so when Stampin' Up! introduced an exclusive line of Project Life I was thrilled! Let's take a closer look at the Memories in the Making Collection, as well as the Memories in the Making Specialty Card Collection that is only available during Sale-a-bration (until March 31).

I like to combine both traditional 12x12 layouts and Project Life pocket style documenting. Plus my 12x12 layouts come together SO quickly using these supplies!
The Memories in the Making Specialty Card Collection (only available as part of the Sale-a-bration promotion) makes this layout a total stunner. The turquoise card, yellow card, dotted photo overlay, and red ombre card are all from this specialty collection.
What's so fun with these specialty cards is that you can alter them to make them your own. The ombre card came with clear stripes already embossed on it, and then I just sponged on some Watermelon Wonder Ink to make the red ombre stripes - SO easy!
With pocket style documenting, this layout came together in minutes, seriously! If you have a stack of photos in your closet, trapped on your computer, or stored on your phone, I cannot stress enough how easy the Project Life by Stampin' Up! system is to get those photos in books and the memories documented. The Memories in the Making Bundle includes everything you need to make a stunning layout.
This fun gold metallic photo overlay is from the Memories in the Making Specialty Card Collection. It really adds a fun focus on this cute photo!
