My project today uses a beautiful new stamp set that you'll find in the 2016 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue called Birthday Blooms.

Watercolouring with the Aqua Painter and my ink pads is so therapeutic. For this flower I used Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, and Cucumber Crush. I love the organic look watercolouring brings to any project.
You can see that the flower hangs off the card quite a bit, so it was time to make an oversized envelope with the Envelope Punch Board. I didn't use any adhesive on the envelope, but created a decorative belly band to hold the envelope closed instead.

You'll find all the products I used to create this project in my Canadian Online Stampin' Up! Shop. They're also listed at the end of this blog post.
Now it's time to go visit the wonderful Amy O'Neill! She's so crazy talented.
Have a marvellous day my friends!
Happy Stampin'
Love the watercoloring on your card Allison and the repeat use of the word "friend" makes for a special card when received :)
