This week is a fun Valentine's theme:
My card is one that I made with my SE Calgary Card Club ladies this month. It's also going to play double duty as my hubby's Valentines' Day card. And since I'm pretty sure he's never looked at my blog (does he even know the web address?!), there's virtually no chance of the surprise being spoiled.
There are so many fun bits on this card, but there's two things you need asap! The Sky is the Limit stamp set and Perfectly Artistic Designer Paper are only available until February 15th (or while supplies last) as part of the Sale-a-bration promotion.
What's Sale-a-bration?
Jan 5-March31: It's Stampin' Up!'s most amazing promotion of the year. With each $60 you spend (before shipping/tax) you may choose one of the Sale-a-bration freebies. There's lots to choose from, and like I said, the Sky is the Limit stamp set and Perfectly Artistic Designer Paper are must haves that are only available as part of this promotion.
This card has lots of other fab details that make it a stunner, and perfect for my handsome hubby. The clouds punched from Corrugated Paper make for a fun 'manly' accent. And of course the sentiment from the Greatest Greetings stamp set is perfection.
The Vellum Cardstock die cut with the Sunburst Thinlits is a great way to add another layer of dimension and interest to a card, without making it look heavy or over embellished.
And here's the same card, but with a yellow background. Yet another stunning piece of designer paper from the Perfectly Artistic collection.
