Flurry of Wishes: Glitter Splatter Technique

Hi friends! I'm enjoying my last day visiting family today. It's a bittersweet wrap up of an awesome trip. I've had a great time playing with my nephews, and cuddling my brand new baby niece, but I'm missing my hubby and my two cute furry babies back home in Calgary.

A little life update for those interested. I'll be going home to a beautiful new tiled laundry room - YAY! I got a message from our contractor today that the tub we special ordered for our ensuite will be going in next week - double YAY! The hot water heater that went on the fritz just before I left home was able to be repaired and not have to be replaced - amazing! Hubby lost his wallet the day I left town, but there are still good people in this world and he got an email from a woman who has found it! Things really are turning up roses for us - finally!

Today's project is the technique I did with my SE Calgary Stampin' Up! Card Club ladies. I learned this fab way to add sparkle at Stampin' Up! Convention this summer. It's really hard to capture how pretty this is, but I gave it my best shot.
Make sure you click on the photo so you can see all the beautiful, fine glitter splattered all over.

Here's how you'll get this look:

  • in an Aqua Painter, make a mixture that is ½ Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue and ½ water
  • apply glue splatter by tapping the barrel of the Aqua Painter on your finger above the cardstock
  • cover immediately with glitter and tap of excess
  • allow to dry
I hope you'll give it a try. And if you need the supplies to make this happen, make sure you visit my Canadian Online Stampin' Up! Shop.

Happy Stampin'
