Now let's chat about that card. I've done a lot of layering of ink on this one.
To create the background I've sponged on the colours: Night of Navy, Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, and Pool Party. Just start at the top with your darkest colour and work your way down using lighter and lighter inks. I like to use Sponge Daubers for this, as I find I have more control of my shading.
For some added depth in the sky, I used the confetti stars stamp from the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set, stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink. And don't forget some silver embossed snowflakes (from the Jolly Christmas stamp set)!
Isn't it fun to have that adorable little reindeer jumping across the sky? To create this effect I simply stamped the reindeer in Early Espresso ink and continued to stamp him without ever reinking my stamp. This creates a lighter and lighter image of him as I moved down the cardstock, giving the allusion of movement.
