Festival of Trees Christmas Card: #tgifc10

Hey friends! Welcome to another TGIF challenge! This week it's all about colour, check it out:
So my first few tries at this combo were a little too dark for my liking (I'm usually a brights girl), but once I added in a little Pool Party I was on a roll. 

 A few nights ago at my Cards and Cupcakes Class some of the ladies were asking me when I'd start my Christmas card classes. I wrote 'design Christmas cards' on my to-do list. Well I'm all about hitting two birds with one stone, so behold my first Christmas card of 2015.
What do you think of this unexpected colour combo for Christmas? Love? Hate? It's ok, I can handle it. 

 I used the Festival of Trees Bundle - totally a must have.

I layered my pieces on top of a tag I created with the new Corrugated Paper and Ornate Tag Topper Punch. Cute right? That Corrugated Paper is addictive.

    Hey Allison, I forgot to tell you I adore this card.... even if it is Christmas... maybe I should be doing my Christmas cards? You are depressing me now because summer hasn't even come here yet.... Argh. You should visit though... Yeah. Come to Newfoundland!!
