Watercolor Wings Card: Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop! This week it's all about the butterflies, and I know you'll be inspired as you hop around the world and visit each one of my fabulous teammates.

For my card today I wanted to create something organic, soft, and beautiful, but still with my 'look'. I choose to create this watercoloured background with my Aqua Painter and Tempting Turquoise Ink, and then added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to really make it pop!
The butterfly was stamped in Daffodil Delight and Memento Tuxedo Black and die cut with the co-ordinating framelits. The Silver Metallic Thread makes the perfect whimsical base for my butterfly.
You will find all the supplies I've used as well as links to my Canadian Online Stampin' Up! Shop at the bottom of this post.

Now please go and visit my friend Barbara to see what she's created!

Happy Stampin'

    1. Hi Danielle! Thanks for your comment! First, I painted a thin layer of crystal effects on with a brush and then doused it in glitter. Hope that helps!
