Catching up on life & a Bold and Bright Butterfly Basics Card

Hi friends. It's a long weekend in Canada and of course here in Calgary it's pouring rain. I had so many glorious plans of cleaning up my garden, fixing our backyard from a recent excavation, and helping watching my hubby build a new shed in our backyard.

Now let's look at something pretty.
This card is one that I've been forgetting to share for quite some time. It was featured on the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog earlier this year. I love the Butterfly Basics stamp set and the versatility it has. I've used it to create soft and pretty projects, but I'm loving it paired with bold and bright colours too!
To create that pretty heart I punched a piece of watercolour paper with the Sweetheart Punch and watercoloured it with my Aqua Painter and Real Red Ink. I really love the bold statement it adds.
Thanks so much my friends for all you do to support me in this job I love so much.
Happy Stampin'
Allison
