Big News Graduation Gift Card Holder: #tgifc03

It's Friday so that means it's time for another challenge over at TGIF! I hope you'll play along with us this week!
We have a fun graduation theme for you, so dust off your favourite congratulations stamp!

I don't have any specific graduation stamps, so I opted to take a selection of sentiments from different stamp sets to create this fun gift card holder. I also used the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies (a total must own for someone like me who is ALWAYS sending gift cards).
That big 'awesomeness' stamp is from the Big News stamp set, and #toocoolforschool is from the retiring @SoSocial stamp set. I'm so bummed that @SoSocial is retiring. If you love hashtags as much as I do, be sure you visit my Canadian Online Stampin' Up! Shop to get yours before they're GONE! I mean seriously, #howcutearethesestamps?
Available in Clear and Wood Mount
You'll love the back of this gift card holder:
That black congratulations banner holds the gift card holder closed too. Super fun. I also love that you can see the star confetti through the vellum. But let's just revisit the front of this for a minute again…
Isn't that tassel so fun!? Check out this quick video for some tips and tricks to make your own tassels:

So easy right? I love being able to make co-ordinating embellishments for my projects.

Now don't forget to play along with us at TGIF and upload your project at www.tgifchallenges.com by Wednesday!

Have an awesome weekend!
Happy Stampin'
Allison

  3. Thanks for the great tassel video! I really want to know how you did the multi-colour lettering on your card. I have an idea of how it could be done, but I'm sure you have tricks and tips to make the process easier than what's in my head! Love your project. So cute!!
