You've Got This & A Whole Lot of Lovely Card: Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! This week the team is sharing the projects that Stampin' Up! will be featuring on their corporate Facebook page, which is a very exciting day for all of us! My card has LOTS of up and coming products from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue that I know you're going to love, including two new In Colors (Mint Macaron & Tip Top Taupe) and two new stamp sets too (You've Got This & A Whole Lot of Lovely).
To create this card I first stamped and heat embossed my images and sentiment on Shimmery White Cardstock with Black Embossing Powder. Then it was time to play with my Aqua Painter and the Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe Inks. I added lots of colour to some of the flower petals and very little to others. I love that the shimmery beauty of the cardstock subtly shows through the watercolour.  After the watercolouring was dry, I added some little splotches of distressed dots with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and Tip Top Taupe Ink Pad. It ended up being quite the stunner.
I've been having a little bit of a love fest in my stamp room the last few weeks with lots of the new goodies from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. I've made lots of fun new samples to share at my upcoming launch party, so if you're in the Calgary area I hope you'll join me!
Now before you email me your RSVP, please go and visit my friend Barbara. I know she'll have a fabulous project to share with you!

Happy Stampin'
