Mother's Love Card: Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Hello friends! Thank you so much for joining me today on the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Everyone on the hop will be sharing projects made with the Mother's Love stamp set, so I hope you enjoy the card I have for you.
The Mother's Love stamp set just screamed "watercolour me!" so I got to work with my classic inks and Aqua Painter. I began by stamping my sentiment and images in StazOn Ink on Watercolour Paper. Then with just a few swipes of Pool Party Classic Ink and my Aqua Painter, the background was complete. After the background was dry, I went back in with my Aqua Painter and added Perfect Plum and Garden Green Classic Inks to the flowers.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I love sharing my creations with you.

Now let's go visit my friend Barbara and see what she has to share with us!
Happy Stampin'
Allison

  3. love the colors! do you stamp your sentiment after watercoloring? and does the stazon work better than the memento?

    1. Sorry, just read you stamped the sentiment first. My black smeared yesterday with my aqua painter but I used memento and not stazon.

  6. I adore the watercoloring that you have applied down the card! I am totally into watercoloring at the moment and I find myself needing to stop from reaching for the paint brush.
