Indescribable Gift Cherry Blossom Easter Card: Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Hello friends. Thank you for stopping by. Today is the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop, so have fun clicking around the world to visit my friends.

Today I have a stunningly simple Easter card to share with you. In the new Occasions Catalogue there's the most beautiful stamp set called Indescribable Gift. I adore the cherry blossom image.
Also in this new catalogue are some brand new colours of Blendabilities markers!!!  I've used Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi to colour my flowers and then the lightest of the Soft Sky markers to do some shading around the blossoms.

Tip: Want to create a soft and subtle coloured image? The Sahara Sand Classic Ink Pad works with the Blendabilities markers, so you don't have to always have that harsh, black outline.

Did you notice that my card today is made using just stamps, ink, and paper? These products are the heart of Stampin' Up! and all you truly need to make a stunning card. Of course all the embellishments are nice, but you don't need one of everything to get started making your own cards. Give it a try.

Be sure to stop by my blog tomorrow (Friday), as I have a very exciting class announcement to share!

Now click across the ocean to visit my friend Barbara. I know she'll have something fabulous for you!

It's time to register for the February Stamps in the Mail projects! It doesn't matter where you live in Canada, you can stamp right along with me from the comfort of your own home! Live in the US? Sign up with my friend Becky. More details HERE, or email me to sign up!

  1. C'est splendide Allison ! Quelle douceur !

  2. This stamp set was very popular this blog hop! A simply stunning card you have created.

  3. Beautiful. The pink P looks so peachy on my monitor. I didn't understand what you meant by how you use soft sand. Do you mean you ink the image in soft sand then color it in with the alcohol markers?

    1. Hi Kathy,
Yes, I used the Sahara Sand Ink Pad to stamp the cherry blossom image and then coloured it in with the Blendabilities. I hope that helps!
