Nice People Stamp Studio Update

Hello friends. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Our Christmas was more of a working holiday than a celebration, although we were lucky enough to be invited out for an amazing dinner with friends. So without giving too much away, here's some sneak peeks inside what's been going on in the new studio while the construction guys are off for the holidays.

There have been an unreasonable number of trips to Ikea, but I finally made some decisions and brought some things home. This open shelving (in dark brown) will be mounted on the wall above my desk to hold all my stamp sets.
I waffled back and forth SEVERAL times about a table for my studio. Do I get one big one? A few smaller ones? Ugh! In the end I opted for this MASSIVE (and rather abused) table from the 'as is' section of the store. It's had a big makeover and I'm excited to show you it's new look very soon.
My other huge dilemma has been choosing a colour palette. After SO MUCH soul searching I decided to go with something bold and exciting. This paint (Annie Sloan Chalk Paint: Florence) has been used to transform a piece of furniture for my new space.

Here's a little peek:
I've since added a few other colours, but those will have to be a surprise.

Well, not surprisingly I'm off Home Depot to buy MORE paint. I'll have to have all my projects completed by early tomorrow morning as the carpet is being installed. No more painting in the basement for me! Ack!

Happy Stampin'
Allison
