I am having THE BEST time! I love visiting with my stampin' besties and the very best place to visit is at Stampin' Up! Convention. This morning we drove up one of the canyons to an amazing restaurant called Ruth's Diner. LOVE.
If you ever have the chance to visit this gem you HAVE to try the biscuits. Oh wow. They are amazing.
I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. Yummo!
My upline Kristine and I have travelled to every Convention together. It's so nice to have a travel buddy.
After breakfast we went for a short shopping trip. I scored a few cute tops and some jewelry too. Then it was off to dinner, followed by our first Stampin' Up! event of Convention - Paper Pumpkin Night Out.
Everyone was pretty excited to do a little make n take from one of the upcoming Paper Pumpkin Kits. It's adorable. I'll tell you right now you NEED to become a Paper Pumpkin subscriber if you aren't already.
There were some displays by demonstrators who had used stamps from past kits that were absolutely fab. These were a few of my favourites.
The highlight of my evening was meeting up with my friend Melody. Giving her a big hug just felt fab. I heart this girl.
She is an expert when it comes to all things crafty and is totally my absolute idol when it comes to stamp carving. I was surprised by an AMAZING stamp she carved just for me. I'm such a lucky girl.
Don't you just LOVE it?! I can't wait to ink this baby up and make some cards!
We finished off the night with a quick picture under the big sign. Ah, I can't wait to go back tomorrow. :)
