My Story

I have a story to tell you today, my story.  The above picture was taken at my very first Stampin' Up! Convention in 2010.  I was a brand new little baby demonstrator with a few small hopes, no goals, and certainly no big Stampin' Up! dreams.  Boy how things change, but there's always a beginning - this is mine.

In 2009 a neighbor invited me to a Stampin' Up! workshop where I met my upline Kristine.  I was just getting into scrapbooking and card making, so the Starter Kit was perfect to get me a base of supplies to work from and the 20% demonstrator discount was totally what I needed!  I had NO intention of selling a single thing, EVER.  I wanted to sign up to get that awesome Starter Kit with it's fabulous supplies at a great price.

Two days before my kit was scheduled to arrive I thought, "Maybe I'll give this a shot, maybe I'll try this business thing out."  I started by doing some projects with some girls from work on one Sunday a month.  Then I invited those girls to join a Stamp Club, and some of them did.  Then one of those girls decided to sign up to be a demonstrator - the first member of my team The Inkin' Elite!  It's five years later and now I have a team nearing 20 demonstrators located in different areas of the country, several successful Stamp Clubs, have earned two Stampin' Up! incentive trips, and have stamping friends all over Canada and the US.
