What an amazing weekend! I was completely blown away by all the kind emails I received from many friends and family about my new custom, hand carved portrait stamp shop on Etsy, InkOnYourFaceStamps. Thank you SO much. And then on Sunday morning I woke up ridiculously early to watch and cheer for the Canadian Men's hockey team as they fought for the gold medal and won in Sochi. It was thrilling.
You may remember this little camera chipboard book I shared last week. I made it by cutting up my Retro Fresh This and That Journal, so I had lots of leftover designer papers from that deconstruction. I took those bits and pieces and turned them into today's cute card.
Just because the Retro Fresh book is a journal in the catalogue, doesn't mean you have to use it as just a journal. Think outside the box, use those fun designer papers in a new way, and don't let your scraps go to waste. I just loved the cameras in the dsp from the pocket page in the back of the journal, so I cut some out and made them the focal point of my card.
