Reminiscing...Fab Food from the Spring Retreat

I take a lot of pride in the food I serve at my events, and the retreats I host are no exception.  The meals are simple, but tasty.

This was the menu from the Inkin' Elite Spring Retreat:

Friday Dinner:
  • selection of wraps (curry chicken, horseradish roast beef, sage and ham)
  • veggies and dip
  • selection of snacks (chips, chocolate bars)
  • bottled water and pop
Saturday & Sunday Breakfasts:
  • muffins (blueberry & apple crumble)
  • bagels w/ cream cheese, jam, or peanut butter
  • cereal (3 types)
  • selection of fruit
  • tea and coffee
Saturday Lunch:

  • BBQ Loaded Baked Potato Soup
  • buns w/ assorted meat and cheese fixings for sandwiches
  • veggies and dip
  • cookies
  • selection of fruit
  • selection of snacks (chips, chocolate bars)
  • bottled water and pop

Saturday Dinner:
  • choose from a selection of 5 menu items at Chili's Restaurant
  • coffee, tea, or pop
Saturday Night Candy Bar

  • we had 8 different types of candy and chocolate; everything from sour keys to peanut butter M&M's!
  • the best part was the ladies could fill their little decorated paper bags and take their candy back to their creative station

I'm excited to start planning the food for the Inkin' Elite Fall Retreat soon!  My husband likes it too because he's guaranteed dinner for at least five nights in a row as I test recipes.  :)  And if you are looking for a soup recipe, seriously try that BBQ Potato Soup, it's amazing!

Registration opens Monday for the Inkin' Elite Fall Retreat!  You are going to be so sad if you miss it!  Check out what Theresa had to say about the retreats she has attended:
"The Stampin Up "Retreat" is exactly that!!  It is the most awesome, relaxing few days you can imagine.  It is structured so that you can create as much or as little as you desire.  I'm always so amazed at what I create when I attend and it is so exciting to go to the crop room to find a lovely gift at my station. One of the biggest attractions for me is the cost......how is it I can go to Banff, create to my hearts content, receive free product, be provided all my meals and then retire to my comfy room. AMAZING!  I plan my whole year around these Stampin Up Retreats..wouldn't miss it for the world."  - Theresa

Mark your calendar for October 25, 26, & 27 2013 and join me in Banff for another amazing retreat!  Full details on the retreat website HERE.

Happy Stampin'
Allison
