The 2-5-7-10 box has been around for what seems like forever, but it's always a great go-to. There's an easy to follow tutorial HERE. I used the Nicely Knit wheel stamp in Gumball Green on Whisper White cardstock for my base. And the Make a Mitten stamp set and co-ordinataing punch for the adorable mittens.
Last but certainly not least we made this adorable little purse, a perfect fit for two Ghirardelli chocolates. :) I used the Box in a Bag template HERE for the general instructions, but changed the measurements to make it miniature.
Here are the measurements you'll need for the mini size:
- 3 1/2" x 1 1/2" cardstock scored @ 1/2" on each side (this will be the box portion of the bag that is created in steps 1-6 in the tutorial)
- 2 1/4" x 6 1/2" DSP (this is the body of the bag that is in steps 7-12 of the tutorial)
- 5" x 1/4" (2 pieces), these are for the handles
I used some additional punches to make some little details on the purses, but you could use whatever mini punches you have on hand.
As always it was an absolute pleasure to have my Calgary Stamp Club ladies over. See you in January girls!
Happy Stampin'
Allison
