Convention 2012 - Masculine Swap

Do you have difficulties designing masculine cards?  I do too, it's ok.  I think it has a lot to do with the supplies I'm drawn to and eventually purchase....they're girly!  So when I saw the Clockworks stamp set in the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue, I knew it would be the perfect (however long overdue!) purchase for masculine cards!

I did a really fun technique on the clock face called faux mother of pearl.  I'm thinking you can't see it very well in these pictures, but I have some step by step pictures to show you tomorrow so you can re-create this look at home, and they really show off this technique.

Big Shot: Argyle Embossing Folder

Punches: 1" Square, 1 1/4" Circle
