June Stamp Club Projects

Our June Stamp Club meeting was alllllll about the new In Colours and masking.  There are many different techniques you can use that involve masking, so at club I showed them three of my favourites.

Here I used the leftover cardstock after you use the Big Shot Circles #2 die as my mask.  Here's what the die looks like so you can envision what I'm talking about:
Circles #2 Originals Die 114526
Price: $19.95
Then I just used my sponge daubers and my ink pads apply colour to the cardstock beneath the mask.  With the selection of beautiful new In Colours, this card really turned into a stunner!  Then with the mask still in place, I stamped the detailed butterfly from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set on top of my sponged colour.  I LOVE the way it turned out!

Stamps: Papillon Potpourri, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink: Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Basic Black
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black
Big Shot: Circles #2 Die, Bitty Banners Framelits
Embellishments: White Baker's Twine, Vintage Faceted Designer Button
Other: Paper Piercer, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack
All supplies available from Stampin' Up!

LOVE the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons!  They are absolutely breathtaking!

Stay tuned tomorrow, I'll be back to show you another one of our masking projects from Stamp Club.

Happy Stampin'
Allison
