To combat my winter blues I made this pretty summer card. :) I can't decide if my favourite part is the ribbon or the two colours of heat embossing.
To make the funky, chunky, fun ribbon embellishment I started by cutting a piece of Wild Wasabi 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in half. Then I frayed the edges and pulled it apart so the stripes weren't so 'perfect' looking. I also pulled out some of the threads and incorporated them into the knot I tied on. I love this messy look! Oh, and I almost forgot, check out the clouds! The stamp is only the outline of the clouds, but just colour in between the lines with your VersaMarker and you can heat emboss them from edge to edge!
