It's all about the sewing...

So I've used a few of these things on today's project, let's have a close up...

For the background I used the Button Button stamp set.  I used only the small images in this set because I wanted the buttons to be seen in between the pieces of DSP.  For the DSP bits I stamped the Pattern Pieces stamp on to the Sweet Stitches DSP and then cut them out.  I really like the sewing machine and sentiment from the Puns from the Past stamp set from the Idea Book & Catalogue, so that's what I've used here.  Colour Combo:  Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight

I am  not a great sewer, but its a skill I intend to improve on!  I was at a workshop last weekend and one of the ladies there said that every woman deserves to have a brand new top of the line sewing machine once in their lives.  I think I'll settle for a second hand relic at this point, I just want one!  I think I'll hit up some garage sales this summer to see if I can find one.  It's hand sewing until then....
